Claudio Ottaviano

Music Producer

Born in Sicily and based in Milan, I have been producing music for films, television series, commercials and video games since 2013. My music has featured in Empire, Big Shot, Chicago P.D., Your Honor, Poker Face and Somebody Feed Phil, as well as Ubisoft’s The Crew 2.

I spent twenty years as a professional double bass jazz player. After studying with Barry Harris, I performed internationally with musicians including Roy Hargrove and Charlie Persip. With Sugarpie & The Candymen, I toured for five years, worked in radio and television with Renzo Arbore and performed with Stefano Bollani. I was also the resident jazz double bass player at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan.

My albums as leader are Notturno (2013), with the Claudio Ottaviano Trio, and Aurora (2015), with the Claudio Ottaviano Quartet. In 2022, I won the European Songwriting Awards in the EDM category.
